Kirk Hings(berger)

My name is not an incredibly difficult pronunciation, but so many folks have stumbled over it throughout my life that I occasionally shorten it. ‘Kirk Hings’ has become something like my stage name/writer pseudonym. I do not mind mispronunciations since I have been called worse things. However, I have found that shortening it seems to make others more comfortable. If you want to try, it rhymes with “kings-burger”. If you want don’t want to try, I won’t mind.

I maintained “Google-silence” for many years and have relaxed that practice recently. Many old friends and relatives are finding me via this site now and reconnect with me via the contact page. Maybe you are one of those folks?

I was born in California but raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I have been to Europe a couple times and a fair handful of United States. I have worked many jobs, including the National Guard and as a technology teacher. I built and sold a major website, so I am now exploring new projects. My experiences are vast and varied, so I am now looking for depth.

I am wrapping up a double degree program, and seeking employment as a web developer. I am also developing a couple technology start up company plans.
